| About Me | "Joseph Renolayan started his music training at age 6. He took piano lessons for three years before learning how to play the flute at age 13. After pursuing classical music in his early years, he found great interest in the alto saxophone and jazz music. While attending high school, Joseph taught middle school students how to play the flute and the alto saxophone, as well as the introduction to music theory. Joseph expanded his teaching skills by becoming the alto saxophone section leader in the high school concert band. He is currently pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Music, with a concentration of Jazz Studies and Improvisation at UC Irvine. His overall goal is for his students to develop the fundamentals of music, which he believes to be the most important element in reaching one's highest potential." |
